I took one of my Tourtured Soul figs to work today, got alot of people saying that who ever designed that has issues Then they went on to say that whoever would collect that stuff has serious issues Damn! I love the midwest.

A lot of guys on Long Island are not into comic books or action figures. It's either sex, drugs, or rims. A month a go, my friend John (He's a REAL Frat boy) wanted to come over. He's never been in my room so i thought what the hell, i'll show it to him. One look in my room and he's like "Spawn?..uhhh, never knew anyone who was into comic books...and video games? god i hate video games, that's just too weird for me"
Mad me feel like shit a bit but you know what, you don't like it, tuff shit. There are other people who understand my passion for Spawn.

A young male who hates video games? Gotta be gay.

I've posted about this before but - it's weird, so far I haven't had a single negative comment about my hobby. Whenever we have people over the "monster" room becomes the most popular room in the house. People love to look at them and ask questions about them. Oh, they'll wince when they see Tortured Souls but it's more like morbid curiosity. I think people like them because it's something different. Most adults just don't see a bunch of miniature plastic people and creatures everyday. They get a kick out of it.
Then they leave and I never hear from them again.

Strange, when people look at my collection they flip in disgust when they see the Anime figures I collect, and say lines like 'Oh their little dolls showing their asses, that is so wrong!' (BTW, none of the anime figures I have are naked but flash a bit of flesh)
And then from there arrive the comments of my screen saver, which has a playmate on it.
Now here's the funny part, when these same people visit my other friend who has just about every toy possible made by McFarlane, they fall in love with torture souls and everything that is not pretty and heavily bloody. It's a fucked up world I say!!! Hence my signature!
But the award goes to my brother's ex. In the old apartment I had a Darth Vader poster on the wall. She walks in and asks 'Why do you have a negative character on your wall?'
I love that kind of reaction. at the firehouse, the capt would take people on tours and when they'd go by my locker he'd tell them I was a devil worshipper. they'd look at the toys and then look at me and I'd just stand there. fuck em.
I took Talisac from TS1 to the hosp when I had my back fusion. after surgery the docs and nurses would check on me and see that and have to ask about it. was a bright spot in a world of pain.
